Aloo Gobhi Methi Recipe Card

Ingredients for Aloo Gobhi Methi Recipe

  • Potatoes cut into wedges 2 medium

  • Cauliflower cut into florets 1 small

  • Fresh fenugreek (methi) finely chopped 1 cup

  • Oil 1 tablespoon

  • Cumin seeds 1 teaspoon

  • Asafoetida ½ teaspoon

  • Ginger cut into strips 1 inch

  • Green chilli slit 2

  • Red chilli powder ½ teaspoon

  • Coriander powder 1 teaspoon

  • Chaat masala 1 teaspoon

  • Salt to taste

Method

Step 1

Heat one tablespoon oil in a non-stick pan; add cumin seeds and asafoetida. When the seeds begin to change colour, add ginger, green chilli and sauté for one minute. Add potatoes. Cover and cook for 3 minutes

Step 2

Add cauliflower florets, sprinkle around two tablespoons of water and cook for 5 minutes.

Step 3

Add red chilli powder, coriander powder, chaat masala, salt and methi. Mix well.

Step 4
